Liquor store impulse endcap design for owners
Endcaps and cooler ends are where basket size grows — or dies under dusty cases and random signs. Design them like sales real estate, not leftover shelf ends.
Owner priorities
- 1. Path interception — place feature ends on the natural path from door to coolers and from coolers to checkout.
- 2. One story per end — seasonal craft, RTD flight, or premium spirits feature — not five competing brands screaming.
- 3. Height and face — eye-level faces for impulse; heavy cases low for safety and stock.
- 4. Lighting — a simple, clean light on the feature beats a dark corner full of cardboard.
- 5. Rotate without rebuild — fixtures that accept new graphics and SKUs without a contractor every holiday.
- 6. Security sightline — ends should not create blind spots from the register.
