Liquor store tasting table and event nook for owners
Sampling and small events can lift basket size — when the zone is planned. A folding table in the main aisle is not a brand experience; a designed nook is.
Follow your state sampling and event rules. This is design guidance, not legal advice.
Owner design priorities
- 1. Flexible footprint — tasting table that folds away so the floor works on non-event days.
- 2. Staff sightlines — age checks and security still cover the zone.
- 3. Power and lighting — one intentional light plane for product, not a clamp lamp on a shelf.
- 4. Adjacent feature end — stock of what is pouring sits next to the table.
- 5. Queue control — sampling does not block cooler or checkout paths.
- 6. Brand finishes — table, backdrop, and signage match the remodel package.
